What To Expect Your First Time at King of Kings Community Church
We're excited about all that God is doing in our midst. We are particularly glad that you are thinking about joining us or have joined us for the first time at a Sunday morning worship service. It is our hope that you will enjoy your experience so you join us again, and again, and again!
Sunday Mornings are quite a ‘happening’ at the King of Kings Community Church.
As you enter our facility you will likely encounter people who are very friendly, embracing...and extremely serious about their commitment to Christ and their corporate worship experience.
(A quick word about "How to Dress". We think you should be free to dress anyway you want, with modesty...You'll find no one really gives it a whole lot of thought...but be forewarned...it seems almost everybody dresses CASUALLY).
In our foyer area you will find flyers describing different ministries you can participate in. One of our greeters should be nearby to give you a bulletin and assist you.
We have wonderful NURSERY CARE which is available. The Greeters can direct you towards that area of the facility. (You will notice that we keep all children ages 3 and above in with the adults during the praise and worship portion of the service. We have found great growth in the children's personal worship experience as they learn to worship freely along side the adults.)
Our service starts at 10:00 AM. We have approximately 30-40 minutes of worship. We would encourage you to worship the Lord in the manner in which you are comfortable. Feel free to sit, stand, kneel, shout, cry, clap, raise your hands, or dance. In short, worship the Lord with all your heart!
It is our desire to provide for you a time of worship that is contemporary, and enables you to encounter the Lord in a real and intimate way. The words to the songs are projected on a large screen at the front of the room.
Because we think COMMUNION is so important, we provide it first Sunday of the month. It is available whenever you choose to take it. Yes, we embrace all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and have determined to grow in our practice of them in models that are biblical, non-manipulative and orderly.
Someone from our Leadership Team will now give a couple of ANNOUNCEMENTS, welcome everyone, and we will collect the mornings tithes and offerings. At this point you will be given a Newcomers Card. If you choose to fill out, you will better enable us to reach out to you or answer any questions you may have.
